In the heart of Nerja’s old town, just a few steps from the famous Balcón de Europa, Trattoria Italia stands out as one of the cosiest and most popular restaurants in the area.
After more than twenty years in the hospitality industry in both Italy and Ibiza, Debora and Massimo, together with their great friend Nico, decided to realise their dream of opening a restaurant that serves the most classic dishes of Italian tradition—enhanced by a unique twist that makes them truly unforgettable, both for the eyes and the palate.

Most of our ingredients are delivered fresh from Italy every day, perfectly complemented by the locally grown Andalusian vegetables.
To accompany our dishes, we offer an excellent selection of Italian and Spanish wines, along with a few special bottles from France and California.
And to finish, enjoy our wide range of homemade desserts and the essential “Limoncello,” the quintessential liqueur of the Amalfi Coast.

We weren’t in Nerja long due to an excursion but I’m so happy we found this place, this is the best pasta I’ve ever tasted it was simply delicious 😋 Plus, the staff were lovely and welcoming.
